She currently lives in Columbia, SC and was born in the very small, farm town of Hemingway, SC. She joined the United States Army in 1989 and served 20 years in the military. While in the military, she married and had two beautiful daughters, Kennedi and Kinsley. It is there that she learned of her gift and passion for teaching My daughters, ages 9 and 14, continue to be the driving force that pushes me to my limit and motivates me to reach for stars that I never knew existed - totally UNIMAGINABLE! - Desiree Gordon-Tomlinson Upon separating from her spouse in 2013, Ms. Gordon-Tomlinson moved to Columbia, SC, where she pursued and earned her first M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University in 2015. She received a bachelor's Degree in Public Relations at Bowie State University in Bowie, MD, in 2013.
