Stick That Shit up Your Arse!: Rhymes of the Great Resist - Vernacular Venting in Verse

Overview

A book of evocative lyrics from a period of poetic release, not planned nor intended, just vented. My opinions are captured in verse and tabled primarily to spark a lighthouse of awareness for my direct descendants, and those harbouring similar views of humanity's progressive demise, one of many that need to be ignited. You might also say it is a literal firecracker up the arse of the ignorant. Explosive inspiration captured in rhyme coupled with my primary passion of rotten and rooted bush-wood carving. Each chainsaw hack, chisel chip and errant off-cut follows a grain within the wood, stripped away to reveal what was always there.

Author Information

Born in Rosebery and raised in Queenstown, Tasmania, my teenage years were normal, in a laidback typical teenage state. A qualified chef by age 19, and now with a career forged in mining over 35 years that includes a decade in the role of government regulator. My formal university qualifications were gained as a mature aged student in my late thirties.I see the world for what it is, not what we all wish it were, and people for who they are according to their actions: the good, the bad, and the gorilla biscuit model.
