Dr. Dominique Thompson has worked with university students for nearly two decades, and in2017 contributed towards a landmark report on the nation's student wellbeing, as well as being involvedin the Mental Wellbeing in Higher Education working group of Universities UK. Dr Thompson now works withuniversities across the UK on their mental health strategies, as well as providing training to university staff. She was named Bristol Healthcare Professional of the Year 2017. In 2019 she was nominated as one of theTop 100 West Women of the Year. Dominique has helped design apps and websites to support studentmental health and writes books on the topic. She has been interviewed widely, including by TheGuardian and BBC Radio 4's Today and their parents to feel more supported when dealing with stress, gaining independence and resilience
