Overview

The story is set in The Gambia and Minnesota and it is about the lives of two young Gambian men. One a rising politician and the other an aspiring soldier both educated in the West. Mofing, a West African mafia organization recruits these two young men to lead the coup d'etat in order to topple an old regime. CIA has been aware of the movements of Mofing in West Africa. To avoid suspicion, Mofing went under cover for several years and were operating under the radar of CIA until Alhajie Umaru, a notorious businessman and a staunch supporter of Mofing was spotted in the Gambia in the early part of 1990s.
