Voyager to life. Packed with in-depth features on each creative department, from visual effects and art to costume and makeup, this volume celebrates STAR TREK's epic adventure in the Delta Quadrant. Whether you are a casual viewer or know each episode by heart, Star Trek Voyager: A Celebration should delight you. Brimming with behind the scenes stories (only some of which I knew!), gorgeous photos and rare production design drawings, it gives a real sense of the creative individuals behind the show as well as the familiar actors onscreen. I particularly enjoyed the key episode choices, spotlighted in chapters of their own. Cheers, Mr. Robinson, for a most welcome celebration. EMH out. [Sorry. Feeling a bit nostalgic.] - Bob Picardo, the Doctor from Star Trek: Voyager Star Trek Voyager: A Celebration captures the spirit of the diverse personalities and talents that came together to create a series that touched audiences around the world. It's a reminder to all of us of a magic time in our lives and revealed things that I never knew. - Dan Curry, Star Trek Visual Effects Producer This is the book Voyager fans have been waiting for! A terrific romp down memory lane with Captain Janeway and her crew. - Michael Sussman, writer/producer, Star Trek: Voyager & Enterprise Star Trek Voyager: A Celebration is a delightful trip down memory lane. Those extraordinary years on Voyager, working along side all those talented people, both in front and behind the camera, were special, indeed. We are so proud to have been part of that amazing family, and for the opportunity - through your book - to take a trip down memory lane aboard the good ship Voyager. - Star Trek production veterans Michael Okuda (graphic designer) and Denise Okuda (scenic artist and computer/video supervisor) Time travel is possible, and it does not necessitate a slingshot around the sun, nor does it call for an Atavachron. Here in this book, captured as if in amber, slices of Star Trek Voyager, held in suspended animation, and when ingested through photonic dispersion, can cause your temporal lobe to vibrate at exactly the same frequency as high-energy alpha-driven chronotons, and off you go... - Doug Drexler, Star Trek makeup artist, concept artist, and visual effects artist. Doug won an Oscar for his work on Dick Tracy, founded the Federation Trading Post and designed the Enterprise NX-01 Finally, the definitive reference guide and companion for one of the most successful and beloved Star Trek series ever, Star Trek Voyager. Ben Robinson and Mark Wright have done an incredible job looking back at this incredible series, while also conducting present day interviews with almost everyone involved with the show, both in front of and behind the camera. A must read for any Star Trek fan. - David Zappone, producer of For the Love of Spock and What We Left Behind: Looking Back as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine This is the book that Voyager fans have been waiting for and deserved since the show ended in 2001 - we just had to wait 19 years for it to be released. - Star Trek Club Stoke on Kent
