Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Guangjun Zhang, is currently a Professor of the School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering, Beihang University, China and the Vice President of Beihang University, China. He obtained his Ph. D. from the Department of Precision Instrument Engineering, Tianjin University, China in March 1991 and was appointed as a Distinguished Professor of Changjiang Scholars Program, China in 2000. His main research interest is computer vision. He was in charge of several major scientific research projects in China and made contributions to Shenzhou manned spacecraft and other satellites. He won the 1st prize in the National Science and Technology Awards in 2008, the 2nd prize in the National Science and Technology Awards in 2006, the 4th prize in the National Science and Technology Awards of 1997, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2001, and Changjiang Scholars Program Achievement Award in 2008.
