She studied philosophy and medieval history, and when she isn't writing, she loves to garden, roll dice, and daydream. Marieke Nijkamp lives and writes in Small Town, the Netherlands. Claire Diaz-Ortiz leads corporate social innovation and philanthropy at Twitter, Inc. and is a sought-after speaker on social innovation. Diaz-Ortiz is the cofounder of Hope Runs, a nonprofit organization operating in AIDS orphanages in Kenya. She holds degrees from Oxford and Stanford and lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
