Overview

Is it acceptable to kill five hundred so ten thousand or more may live? Is a spider web cracked windshield a political victory? On whom should the politicians rely, the Generals or the Spies? From the deserts of the Middle East to the confessionals of the Catholic church; from the darkest parts of Africa to the darkest alleys in Paris you'll meet interesting characters who live in all the levels of society as ordinary people, but who have second, secret lives, as spies. Author Information

Tony Jordan grew up on the Gulf Coast, and graduated with honors from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee where he had first intended to train in pre-med but then thought seriously about the Episcopal priesthood. He served as a rescue helicopter pilot in Southeast Asia and later as an instructor, test pilot, and squadron commander in the US Air Force. He became a clandestine operations officer with the Central Intelligence Agency in 1979 where he earned many of that agency's highest awards during a 26 plus year career. After several overseas undercover tours as a clandestine operative, and five senior leadership positions with the CIA in Langley he retired, accepting a senior executive position with a major, Boston-based research company. He now writes novels and short stories in the tower office of his cottage on Spy Hill Farm, in the foothills of the Crab Orchard Mountains of Tennessee, where he is ably supported and appropriately encouraged, when needed, by his wife, Anne, and his BFF, Tailwagger Jack.
