Gail Carson Levine is an author of fiction and nonfiction for young adults. Her first book for children, Ella Enchanted, won a Newbery Honor and was made into a feature-length film starring Anne Hathaway. Her other books have been named best book of the year by Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal and been named an ALA Notable Book, among other acclaim. Iva-Marie Palmer is the author of The Summers and The End of the World as We Know It. She grew up in Chicago's south suburbs and now lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
