Eduardo Mendieta is professor of philosophy and affiliate professor in the School of International Affairs at Pennsylvania State University. He is the coeditor of The Cambridge Habermas Lexicon. Stephen Decatur Smith is associate professor of music history and theory at Stony Brook University.
