Something Left Undone

Overview

England 1921 Did an ancient myth become real and come riding? An exceptionally powerful storm rages in a small coastal village in Cornwall. The lady of the manor has been rendered unconscious by the storm's savagery. A grizzly murder is discovered the next day. Some villagers believe the eerie storm and the murder are the work of the ancient Great Horned One who occasionally searches for a sacrifice riding on his fiery horse. No one knows the murder victim. Inspector Dickie Geever, the second son of the Earl of Cornwall, who knows nothing about solving murders, is sent as the primary detective because of his family influence. Inspector John Ferguson is sent as second in command by their boss at Scotland Yard because he needs the murder actually solved so it doesn't become a supernatural unsolvable crime. The two policemen must stay in an old dower house on the manor property because the only other place for them-the Crown Inn-caught fire during the strange storm. Scotland Yard detectives never become involved with anyone connected to a case. The village is very proud of their doctor-a woman. She must also stay in the dower because her apartment and office was damaged in the fire. John Ferguson and Doc Abby are very attracted to each other immediately. Something has been left undone. Strange happenings begin the first night in the dower with terrifying nightmares occurring by each person staying in the dower. Doc Abby, who claims to have the ability to perceive things beyond the range of normal human senses, believes it is haunted by a malevolent spirit who is targeting her and a nine-year-old boy. The angry spirit wants them all to die in the house. Ferguson believes none of the supernatural nonsense. Can he discover the logical explanations for the strange happenings. Can he solve the murders or will a ghost who plagues an old house and a wild night rider on a fire breathing horse who haunts the sky with his death hounds endure as the culprits turning this into an supernatural legend?
