Author Information

Patric Gagne is a writer, therapist, and advocate for people suffering from sociopathic personality disorder. She holds a PhD in clinical psychology from UCLA. Her dissertation examined the relationship between sociopaths and their reactions to anxiety. This research became the groundwork for her continued studies on sociopathic disorder, as well as the foundation for her memoir. When she is not working with patients or running after her small children, Patric volunteers as a grief counselor specializing in violent crime. Today, she is working to expand the definition of sociopathy to include its status as a spectrum disorder. She serves on the advisory board of PsychopathyIs.org and runs SociopathToEnlightenment.com, a website dedicated to educating the public about sociopathy through life tips, treatment options, and question/answer forums. She lives with her family in Florida. Patric Gagne is a writer, therapist, and advocate for people suffering from sociopathic personality disorder. She holds a PhD in clinical psychology from UCLA.
