People all-to-often make a huge mistake when they become frightened about doing something new. One of their fears is that the new project will be too hard to do. Another is, will it be worth the time to do it. Still, another is, will I be able to learn how to do it. Karen Greenvang's books about smoothies is nothing to be frightened about. She writes clearly. Each of her instructions are easy to follow, and her recipes are of fruits and vegetables that are easily available and are inexpensive. And the recipes are very tasty and can be made quickly. And they improve our health. My wife and I have a smoothie every day for our lunch, a smoothie based on her recipes. We have found that a 16-ounce drink for each of us satisfies us so that we do not have to eat again and not even snack until supper. Often, when my wife, who makes the smoothies, doesn't have one left from the large amount she made yesterday, will say to me, I going to make a smoothie now and it will be ready in twenty minutes, and the twenty minutes includes taking the fruits and vegetables from the refrigerator until she gives me the glass containing the drink. And, obviously, one does not have to make a new smoothie daily. Once made, a smoothie will remain fresh in a refrigerator for as long as fruits and vegetables last. - by Israel, US
