Cyndi Jo loves Jesus. She loves church. She loves church so much that for years, as an adult, she attended up to 5 church services a week at up to 5 different churches. As a young girl, Cyndi Jo received Jesus as her Lord and savior. She began growing in her walk with the Lord and was on fire for Jesus. As a young teenager Cyndi Jo got mixed up with the wrong crowd at school. She was sexually assaulted. Cyndi Jo lacked positive supports and like many young people got involved with smoking, drinking and sleeping around. Cyndi Jo was a hurting and confused young person. She knew the things she was doing was contrary to her Christian faith.She hated the things she was doing and the life she was living. She turned to a woman within the church for help. Cyndi Jo desperately wanted spiritual guidance in how to repent and live a Godly life. Instead Cyndi Jo was told that she had sinned too much for God to ever forgive her and she had lost her salvation. Cyndi Jo was hurt, devastated and confused. She began a downward spiral. Over the next forty years she repeats a cycle of seeking God, seeking repentance but at times falling into sin. She can never forget that she was told the God she loves will never forgive her. She repeatedly confesses her sins to the women at church. She is repeatedly heckled, accused, slut shamed, slandered and gossiped about. She again falls into sin. Around and around the cycle goes. But God -in his loving kindness and compassion continues to show her that his love never fails
