There's even a chapter involving a shopping miracle. During Mary's flight adventures, God showed her how to proceed at each hop. In one incident, God supernaturally revealed the missing digits of an ex-convict's phone number. In another, Mary had to believe God's revelation about how to handle an emergency in which her home was in danger of fire. Mary L. Gordon repeatedly sees God's humor in life, and she often reflects that humor in her writing. As her life evolved, Mary started to see how many times God showed up to bail her out of a tough situation or surprise her with a gift. Her chapter about coincidences is entitled, ""God-cidences,"" (for instance). Author Information

Mary L. Gordon majored in mathematics at Purdue University and earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees. She taught math at Haille Sellassie I University in Alemaya, Ethiopia from 1968 to 1970 where she raised two lion cubs. She also taught at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. Mary first confessed Jesus as Lord in 1975. Since that time she has often written insights as she discovered them. In the early days, her writing was mostly in letters to friends. In 2004 she discovered the art of journaling in her prayer time, and she has since found tremendous fulfillment in God's inspirations. She first became a published author in 2023 and has since devoted much of her time to writing.
