Author Information

Kris Townsend is an Information Systems instructor at Spokane Falls Community College in Spokane, Washington. Kris earned a bachelor's degree in both Education and Business, and a master's degre in Education. He has also worked as a public school teacher and as a systems analyst. Kris enjoys working with wood, snowboarding, and camping. He commutes to work by bike and enjoys long rides in the Palouse country south of Spokane. Darren R. Hayes is CIS Program Chair and Lecturer at Pace University. He is also a consultant for the Department of Education in New York City, where he provides high school teachers with training in computer forensics. He is passionate about computer forensics, works closely with law enforcement, and believes that the field of study is a great way to get students interested in computing. He's not a native of New York but shares the same birthplace as Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker, James Joyce, and Bono. On his breaks from university life, he likes to travel home to Ireland or to his wife's native Trinidad. In the summertime, you might see him and his children trekking along the magnificent bike paths of Harwich, Massachusetts.
