LAS VEGAS, like any city, is filled with all kinds of people, going about their lives much like you or me. That being said, as we all know, Vegas is also unique, in concept, and as a center for entertainment. Performance will always be a part of the show that defines this city to the world, which makes for great stories and sketching material. DEAMER SKETCHBOOKS: In case you haven't heard, coloring books for all ages are becoming quite a passion. Perhaps our ever-complicated world and its demands on our attention are fueling this trend. I think that we all wish that we had more time for reading. Omar and his family travel to a different location for each of these CULINARY ADVENTURES. The travel fiction aspect is enhanced with descriptions of actual sites, restaurants, bookstores, galleries and shops-including sketches, favorite lists and recipes. Diversity in race, religion, culture, language and sexual orientation not only exists within Omar's family, it is celebrated in these tales. Each Omar T book is independent, you do not need to read them in the order of their publication, though there is an occasional reference for those who do. Author Information

Chef Deamer was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived in Switzerland and the Washington D.C. area before settling in Monterey County California in the early 1980's. He maintains a home in the birth city of John Steinbeck, Salinas California, the former location of his dinner only restaurant, Pajaro Street Grill. Deamer now spends much of his time in Tijuana Mexico and traveling the world with his recurring character, Omar T Black, creating a novel and Sketchbook for each location.
