Reviews

Loved how fun this book is to learn about the many idioms the English language has. I didn't even know most of the idioms so it was enjoyable to learn more of them. The author and illustrator did a great job combining each idiom to a fun picture to remember them by. A must have for new English/ reading learners! What a fun read, for kids and adults alike! Putting Lipstick on a Pig is a must have book in the arsenal to inform generations to come about fun and silly sayings and where they came from. The illustrations are really great, colorful and masterfully done. I highly recommend this book, appropriate for kids 5+ ... I am getting more to have on hand as my nephews are getting married, the perfect gift! What a fantastic little read for both adults and kids! I sent this as a gift to my employees whose second language is English. Everyone loved learning idioms that are unique to the US. The illustrations are adorable and the text is so fun and informative. Buy this for your friends and their children. All I can say is more idioms please !
