Overview

Skateboarders from across the world act as models for this unique colouring book featuring 60 illustrations of authentic skateboarders for readers to colour in as they please! Street, ramp, downhill and slalom: the Skateboarding Coloring Book lets readers colour all the different styles in skateboarding and follow the development of fashion over the past 40 years, from the Californian pole skaters and knee-high socks of the 1970s to the relaxed, fashion-conscious Brooklyn skaters of the 2000s and the daredevil tricks of the Moscow scene.

Author Information

Magnus Frederiksen is a Swedish illustrator and graphic designer of several years standing. He works as a teacher at Forsbergs School in Stockholm, where he teaches creative thinking, program technique and illustration. He has previously published the book Va¤ggar som viskar (Walls That Whisper), a photo book on abandoned houses. His skateboarding career was short, but his fascination for the speed and tricks lives on. The Skateboarding Coloring Book is his tribute to the life he never really led.
