Overview

Since he became Mayor of London, Sir Tommy has had nothing but trouble: a grumpy king, a city full of the Plague, and now a little Fire has started on Pudding Lane. At least he can sort that fire out quickly, though - right? Drip, Drop and Plop are the best of friends, and want to stay together always. But they are also water droplets - and when their cloud scatters them over a mountain, will they ever see each other again? Chip Colquhoun & Korky Paul's Fables & Fairy Tales are inspiring stories from around the world, retold to inspire you. These two short tales are great for reading aloud at bedtime with listeners aged 4+, and are also excellent for new independent readers aged 7+. Each features three beautifully detailed illustrations. Like all titles in the series, these stories have accompanying storytelling videos, audiobooks, ebooks, creative challenges, and additional resources for parents and teachers online - head to epictales.co.uk to find out more.

Reviews

Praise for Chip Colquhoun: Have been reading this at bedtime to a 9 year old and a 6 year old and they are both loving it, and I am too! Very engaging and accessible. - Kindle Customer of Cambridgeshire Folk Tales for Children Fantastic book, aimed at children but suitable for all ages! - Amazon Customer of Cambridgeshire Folk Tales for Children Great for engaging the children. Even the children who usually don't listen as carefully as some of the others were just totally involved in it. It appeals to lots of different children's interests. - Sarah, teacher of children aged 9-11 at Jeavons Wood Primary School I was particularly impressed, because some of my children are quite young, and some of the stories are quite long, but despite that they were really engaged in them. I think it was a combination of how it was written, and the themes in the stories. - Helen, teacher of children aged 4-6 at Whaddon CE School
