Reviews

Simply telling someone to start playing at their library can be overwhelming. In Simple Positive Play at the Library, Jennifer Ilardi breaks down how and why to support open-ended play in libraries by leveraging the power of community collaboration. With her advice you too can turn your library into a 'playground where young people can utilize what they know to explore their interests, ' as Ilardi puts it.--Noah Lenstra, associate professor of Library & Information Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and founder of Let's Move in Libraries
