Overview

As a wife of a Vietnam veteran, I lived and fought through the dark side of a man's war memories. Silent Scars is a story about scars you cannot see. My scars of war are in my heart and his are in his mind. By telling my story, I want to help others avoid the wounds I live with every day. I hope and pray that I can make a difference in other people's lives through the lessons I have learned. As you will see in my memoirs, many family members also struggle with the after-effects of war because freedom is never free. In essence, my story is an acknowledgement and thank you for all the times they didn't understand or know what to do. To learn more about this book, visit my website at http: //www.silentscars.com.
