Chronology Introduciton The Dictionary Bibliography About the Author

Reviews

"Passionate about Freud, Ross offers an encyclopedic dictionary about the man, his work, and followers up to 1950. An introductory essay and an eccentric, free-associative selection of entries follow a good chronology of Freud's life.... Most entries include a lively pastiche of facts, opinions, and brief overviews of related works. The book can appeal to lay readers or beginning students stimulated by the intellectual wealth of psychoanalysis.... [R]eadable and intellectually enjoyable. Recommended. Upper-division undergraduates. General readers. -- ""Choice Reviews"""
