He is the author of House Rules, about a year in the life of a freshman congressman, and several books for young adults and children. He received a master's degree in nonfiction writing from Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Philadelphia. Rick Adamson is an award-winning voice artist with more than twenty years' experience in voiceovers, spoken word events, event announcing, and children's media, as well as commercials for well-known international corporations.
