Author Information

Paul Newman (1925-2008) was an award-winning actor and director. He starred in dozens of motion pictures including Cool Hand Luke, The Sting, and Mr. and Mrs. Bridge. Among the films he directed were The Glass Menagerie, Harry and Son, and Rachel, Rachel. A.E. HOTCHNER is an effervescent and charismatic nonagenarian. A life-long writer, he has written eighteen books including his 1966 internationally bestselling biography of his close friend Ernest Hemingway, Papa Hemingway. His memoir, King of the Hill, was adapted into a film in 1993 by Steven Soderbergh. In addition to his successful, decades-long writing career, Hotchner is co-founder, along with Paul Newman, of Newman's Own foods. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and pet parrot, Ernie. L. J. Ganser is a multiple Audie Award-winning narrator with over six hundred titles recorded to date. Prized for versatility, his work ranges from preschool books to crime noir thrillers, from astronomical adventures in both science and science fiction, to Arctic Circle high school basketball stories. He lives in New York City with his family and dog, Mars.
