Chapman studied at Trinity College, Oxford and Munich University. He is Vice-Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon and Professor of the History of Modern Theology at the University of Oxford. He has written and lectured widely on many aspects of modern church history and theology. Bogdan Lubardić is Full Professor in the Faculty of Orthodox Theology at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. He is head of the department of philosophy and science of religion. His monographs include studies of Nikolai Berdyaev, Lev Shestov and Justin of Ćelije.
