Dr. Nancy Hendricks is an award-winning historian and Director of Alumni Communications at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, as well as an actress and award-winning playwright. Blanche Lambert Lincoln is a seventh-generation Arkansan and in 1998 became the first woman elected to the Senate from Arkansas since Senator Hattie Caraway. She is also the first woman and Arkansan to serve as chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.
