Author Information

Mary Casie is an American psychologist born in 1972 in Philadelphia. She founded her career on the in-depth study of NLP and journaling. Since childhood, she has always been sensitive and introspective. She loved to take refuge among the books and spend whole afternoons in the school library, dreaming that she would become a famous writer when she grew up. But her life had other plans for her.During her adolescence, Mary suffered a deep depression caused by the premature loss of her mother. From that moment, she began to study psychology in-depth. Her pain pushed her to try to understand deep inside the human psyche. After three years of intense research, Mary came out of depression and decided that she would help other people to find serenity. So, as soon as she finished high school, she moved to New York and entered the college of psychology. During her internship, she had the opportunity to collaborate with eminent psychologists in the country and learn the best analysis techniques. After finishing her studies, she returned to her hometown, where she lives with her husband Ben.She still runs her own medical practice, where she helps her patients to analyze themselves through journaling. Mary has never abandoned her passion for writing: today, she is a successful author. With her books, she has helped thousands of people across the country overcome various psychological discomforts resulting from the stress that modern life entails. This is her philosophy: Writing is a very intimate process, and it involves the deepest parts of the mind. After more than 20 years of intense career, I could see that most of the psychological discomfort comes from an excessively weak contact with our deep self: writing is a powerful bridge between what we are and what we believe we are.
