"Its easy to talk about my struggles with depression and other battles amongst friends and family, but to put them publicly in a book for the world to see is a different feeling. Am I being to vague about some of my issues? Putting to much out there to get judged? I hope the person reading this thinks, ""Sounds to me like Kristy is a regular human bein who has made mistakes."" Regardless, in my book, Seeing Blue Through Brown Eyes, I will dig into my darkest days on how I struggled with Postpartum Depression, OCD, Body Dysmorphia and struggles in my marriage, among feeling so hopeless, I didn't know if I wanted to continue on with life, despite having such a strong support system. Strange how your mind can become your own worst enemy. Do I still struggle with all of this today? Sure do but each and every time this occurs, I feel like I am getting stronger and much better at controlling it! Depression does not define me as a person, how I cope with it does!"
