Overview

This book is inspired by the many Sunday suppers I had at home gathered around the table with friends, sharing stories, laughs and good food. These recipes are a brief glimpse into those wondrous days that I will always cherish and hold near to my heart. I love everyone that allowed me to love through food and to be a presence for such times. There will always be a seat at my table for you.

Author Information

"Chef K.J. Bradford hails from Southeast Texas with deep Louisiana roots. Growing up in a Turkish and Creole household, he started cooking at an early age with his grandmother, developing a passion for food and honing his palate for bright flavours. K.J. started his career early at the age of 15 by selling his jams, jellies, and pastries at the local farmers' market, which would eventually blossom into his confectionary company - Klara J's Artisan Confections. K.J. attended The Art Institute of Houston where he obtained an associate degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. He then began the formative years of his career hosting dessert and wine pairings, creating themed dinner parties, and doing menu development for private clients. Delving deeper into the private sector, he became a private chef. With a clientele ranging from local businessmen to celebrities and diplomats, K.J. began to solidify his position as the culinary concierge in the Gulf Coast. He would later represent the James Beard Foundation with a delegation of chefs from the Gulf Coast to lobby Congress for the extension of Magnuson-Stevens Act. He has received many professional accolades for his professional works, volunteerism and community activism. His motto is ""the table is the one common place where all things are left aside and we can all find joy, comfort and create memories in the sharing of a meal."""
