Author Information

Thomas Haapapuro has written a previous book, Fresh Designs for Woodworking by Fox Chapel Publishing, which showcased his unique and artful approach to woodworking. It also featured his approach of using standard wood shop tools in unique ways to create beautiful works of art. He has also published several articles and patterns for Scroll Saw magazine. Thomas grew up in the rolling foothills of Appalachia, a rural environment that infused in him the appreciation of natural beauty and sophistication, which informs his current work. Thomas now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina to be close to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
