Honeycutt (Ph.D., University of Illinois) is an LSU Distinguished Professor of Communication Studies and a winner of numerous research awards including the Rainmaker Research Award. He has shaped research in psychology and family studies. He is founder of the Matchbox Interaction Lab and is internationally recognized for his work in relationship scripts and imagined interactions. Pavica Sheldon (Ph.D., Louisiana State University) is Associate Professor and Interim Department Chair of the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
