Reviews

"[...] an innovative text that gathers together diverse approaches to the notion of youth in French-language cinema.--Peadar Kearney, Maynooth University ""L'Esprit Crateur Vol. 60, No. 2"" Chareyron and Viennot have gathered an impressive array of perceptive essays in this unique examination of films about youth in France and Francophone countries. They illuminate a diverse range of adolescent roles across historical and cultural conditions, providing an exceptional appreciation for how children are depicted across class settings, sexual identities, racial tensions, family dynamics, and adult politics.--Professor Timothy Shary, Eastern Florida State College"
