Author Information

Kevin Silber is Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Derby, UK. Educated at Manchester University in Physiology and Psychology, he then went onto a lecturing career that now spans 29 years. During that time he has been a lecturer, a programme leader and a head of department, and he has also examined A level psychology. During this time his focus has been on learning and teaching and, especially the transition from secondary to tertiary education. He has authored two previous biological psychology texts and was the series editor for the Modular Psychology series.
