Reviews

Mohamed Rabie's new book, Saving Capitalism and Democracy, provides a broad historical sweep of human development that masterfully explores the inter-connection of economic, social and political forces from the beginning of human awareness. It is a deeply philosophical book made possible by the author's personal and professional biography. The dynamics of previous stages of development inform the author's cogent analysis of contemporary dysfunctions and his fresh recommendations for overcoming the current global crisis. - Ann Philips, Public Policy Scholar, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, USA
