Author Information

I am William Perrigen a Baltimore-based, self-taught photographer and owner of Sitazen Blake Photography. I created SankShuned in 2014 as a platform to showcase my photography and other creative expressions. Throughout my life, I've always had a love for photography and pictures. I've always had this dream of one day becoming a photographer. In 2008 I won a trip to Cancun, Mexico. During this trip, I was able to see some awesome sites and take some beautiful photographs. As I shared my photographs with friends, I was often asked the question, ""So, what are you going to do with your photographs?"" At that time I really didn't know but I continued to pursue my dream and take pictures. In the years to come I visited countries along the Baltic Sea, explored Italy, and spent some time in South America. Initially, I decided I would make a yearly portfolio to capture my experiences. But in October 2014, as I sat reviewing my photographs from my South America trip, one of the photographs got my attention and I thought, ""Wow this could be a magazine cover."" And just like that, the idea to develop a photography art book was born. SankShuned Volume 1 was released in February, 2015, and so began my journey to becoming a professional photographer.
