He has written numerous works for choir, piano and chamber music. His music ranges from sacred to blues to boogie to classical/romantic to modern. Kevin has a degree in music composition from the University of Utah. He also has two degrees in special education. He lives with his wife and dog in the Salt Lake valley. He has six children & 16 grandchildren. MARK R. FOTHERINGHAM writes for a living as Communications V.P. for the Utah Medical Association which has honored him with four Distinguished Service Awards. He and his wife of 33 years are the parents of two married daughters and a son who is totally available. They are also grandparents, focused on spoiling their granddaughter. Mark graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah, majoring in Journalism & Mass Communications. KATHRYN W. HALES grew up in southern Idaho, but spent most of her life in Ellensburg, WA on the eastern slopes of the Cascades. She studied at Brigham Young University and Central Washington University. She and her husband are the parents of five children, 19 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Kathryn has taught piano lessons most of her life. She enjoys reading, quilting, creative writing, music, and growing flowers. ORSON F. WHITNEY (1855-1931) was an apostle in the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints. Previous to his calling as one of the 12 apostles, he was a professor of English and Theology at Brigham Young College. He was a poet and historian as well.
