But even beyond the dollar figures, hair has even greater power and influence in our community because it speaks. Hair is the central theme in this anthology book which includes forty-five original short essays- all from the point of view of students across the country. Essays featured in this collection were finalist submissions in The Science of Black Hair scholarship program.
