"Brian Gibbons is the General Editor of the New Cambridge Shakespeare and Professor of English Literature at the University of Munster. His other works on Shakespeare include a book, ""Shakespeare and Multiplicity,"" an edition of ""Measure for Measure"" for the New Cambridge Shakespeare, and an essay entitled ""Doubles and Likenesses-with-difference: ""The Comedy of Errors"" and ""The Winter's Tale."""" He also served as General Editor for the New Mermaid Anthology of plays, and has written extensively on Elizabethan and Jacobean theater."
