Author Information

Adrian Savoiu graduated the Golescu high-school from Campulung-Muscel in 1973 and the Romanian Language and Literature Faculty of the University of Bucharest in 1978. He teaches Romanian language and literature, currently at the Al. I. Cuza High-school of Bucharest. From his publishing debut in 1977, he wrote constant, critical studies and literary history, essays, reviews. In 1977 he joined the Romanian Numismatic Society, and is a member of the Society of Philological Sciences. He worked at Radio Romania where he made over 100 programs. He worked under the PHARE program. He published several volumes, focusing particularly on issues of literary history. In parallel with the teaching work, for which he received his Gheorghe Lazar class (the highest award in school education), he developed curricula and topics for national exams and high school capacity. He is the author of books of Romanian language and literature, guides and auxiliary school. In 2011 he received the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Campulung-Muscel.
