Robert Capa, the most celebrated photojournalist of the 20th century and a founder of Magnum Photos, used Paris as a global platform for his photog­raphy throughout his career. Bernard Lebrun is a war correspondent who has reported from Iraq, the former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia. He is the author of Normandie 44. Michel Lefebvre is a journalist for Le Monde and has written extensively on Robert Capa, 1930s photography, and the International Brigades.
