Overview

One man's war against the cartel takes him to the border. Where justice has a price. Haunted ex-cop John Sole is still hunting the cartel that butchered his family. His search drags him into Creosote, a dusty Texas border town built on secrets. There he finds Isabella, a café owner fighting to protect her son. As Sole's presence sparks violence, the cartel turns its sights on him. Forced to flee with Isabella and her son, he knows the cartel won't stop until they're silenced. To keep them safe, Sole must sacrifice the only people he's begun to care about since his loss and take the fight back to the enemy. Road to Justice is the second explosive thriller in Glenn Trust's Sole Justice series. Perfect for fans of Jack Reacher, David Baldacci, and gritty vigilante action.

Author Information

Glenn Trust is the author of the bestselling Hunters, Sole Justice, and Journey Series of mystery/thriller/suspense novels. He has also written standalone works, including Dying Embers, Mojave Sun, and short stories. There are no superheroes or knights in shining armor in his stories. According to Trust, knights are for fairy tales. His books are gritty and based in the real world, with characters who face their frailties while dealing with their roles in the story. The heroes are average people doing the best they can.The villains, as real villains often do, look like us. Trust's monsters hide behind the smiling faces that pass us on the street. They look like us, and this makes them more frightening. He is a Georgia native but has lived in most regions of the country at one time or another. Varied experiences, from construction worker to police officer, corporate executive to city manager, color and provide insight into the characters he creates. His stories are known for detailed plots, solid research, and realism.Today, he writes full-time and lives quietly with his wife and two dogs, Gunner and Charlie. You know you're narrating a character right when your children grab your arm and say, ""Daddy . . . read the bad guy normal, you're scaring us with the voice."" Aside from reading villains in storybooks really well, Derek Shoales has worked on corporate, eLearning, and commercial voice-over projects, been a graphic/web designer and an inventory market mentor, sung bass to baritone in choirs, and played the guitar, electric violin, and Clare whistle.
