Overview

"""Megan helped me take a step back to think bigger and unlock more influence and potential than I'd imagined."" -Valerie Kaplan, Former CMO, Headspace ""Every ambitious, fearless woman's guide to success."" -Amber Hameed, Managing Director, Accenture Song Risky Women is for every woman who is tired of chasing what feels like an elusive goal of fulfillment, an imaginary arrival point in her personal and professional life when she will feel like she finally made it. There's a reason why so many of us feel stuck in a goldilocks trap, where we can't find our way out and can't shake the feeling of restlessness, like nothing feels quite in our lives. Because our current workforce model wasn't built for women to succeed at the highest levels of leadership, in organizations or our own businesses. We have to build a new paradigm, and we can't wait for corporations to catch up. We have to bet on ourselves, take risks, and do business the way we want to do business. This book will be your street fighter's manual to knowing when to stay and fight, and when to get the hell out."

"""I got so much more than I bargained for when I began working with Megan in the best way possible! Though I went into the experience hoping for a quick fix to some specific challenges I was facing in my career, Megan helped me take a step back to think bigger and unlock more influence and potential than I'd imagined. She didn't give me the easy answers; she made sure I was asking the right questions. Megan has a special flavor of 'tough love' that is at once compassionate and challenging. Through our coaching sessions, she helped me define and refine my own theory of leadership to elevate my presence and performance, driving effectiveness through authenticity."" -VALERIE KAPLAN, Former CMO, Headspace ""Every ambitious, fearless woman's guide to success. Megan's book provides practical yet simple and actionable steps to overcome fear and self-doubt on the road to your indelible right to success."" -AMBER HAMEED, Managing Director, Accenture Song ""Risky Women is a must read for female leaders at all levels! It reinforces the problems women face but, more importantly, empowers one to take action that will drive long-term positive change for female leaders."" -CHRISTINA CARTWRIGHT, Former Marketing Executive, Dollar Shave Club ""Women should understand that boundaries and limitations are not the norm. Megan has done an incredible job of laying out a runway to success! Risky Women is a must read!"" -REBECCA BAST, Founder, Bast Financial Group ""Megan's Risky Women is a clever take on how to conquer the workplace by getting curious about the fears and self-doubts that holds us back. Her thoughtful exercises help us create space from those fears and consequently fill that space with a much more lucrative fear in the workplace-the fear of missing out, ultimately unleashing our risky behavior as female leaders."" -JILLIAN ROMERO CHAVES, CEO and Founder of Hungry Unicorns, Managing Director of OREMOR Automotive Group ""All women need to read to help them move forward in business and in life. The backstories, research and no-nonsense plan help you unblock and grow and show who you really are. This is for all women, whether they are just starting their careers or reaching the top!"" -SARAH CHESNUTT, Strategic Director, YPO Pacific West ""True to form, Megan Ragsdale delivers a hilarious, no-holds-barred reality check on barriers women face to risk taking. She's got the chops and leadership experience to set you up for success to navigate risk anywhere, any time."" -JOHANNA HLADUN, Senior Director, Security Services"
