Raised on a diet of medieval comics, novels, and movies, I knew at a young age that I wanted to share my passion with others. As an elementary school educator, my favorite subject to teach was life during the medieval era. I invited authors to the school library, bused my students to the Medieval Times dinner and tournament, visited museums, constructed catapults, and brought in falconry and weapons experts.
