Did you know that rhyming supports reading development? And, when kids pay attention to clues in a riddle it helps them develop greater comprehension and vocabulary. All of these reading skills are important for readers ages 3 to 8. This Riddle & Rhyme activity book is designed to engage kids in a classroom or at home. Focused on a variety of popular themes each topic has 8 rhyming riddles to solve and pages of word cards. The cards can be used to support solving the answers to the riddles. There are also activity pages for kids to do with an adult or independently to reinforce the learning. Author Information

Anita is an author, parent, friend, coach and certified teacher with over 25 years of experience working for young children. Starting her career in the 90's with an Associate's Degree in early childhood, Anita worked with toddlers and preschools. With a goal to promote language development she created theme-based riddles to use in her daily curriculum. Twenty years later, Anita has obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education.
