Author Information

William Stevenson, Ed. D. is an award-winning accountant and children's book author. Bill created a series of children's books titled, Ricky's Dream Trip based on his creative adventures with his grandson. PopPop and Ricky go around the world throughout time to visit places such as Ancient Egypt, Colonial America, outer space, and now Ancient China. Paul Fireman is the President of Fireman Creative, the artists and designers behind the Ricky books. Paul is an entrepreneur and creative problem-solver with 30+ years of experience in communications, advertising, marketing, art direction, and interactive production. Prior to creating Fireman Creative, he worked at The Disney Channel and Walt Disney Studios, as well as traditional advertising agencies J. Walter Thompson and DMB&B. Paul founded Fireman Creative in 2001. Paul lives in Regent Square. He grew up in Squirrel Hill and is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Public Schools. He is passionate about Westinghouse Park as a grounding point for bridging the busway between Homewood and Point Breeze North.
