Como autora se da a conocer en 2010 gracias al Premio Documenta por la novela Una tierra solitaria, y al Premio Rovelló de ensayo por el trabajo Las heroínas contraatacan. She maintains an intense activity as a translator into Catalan and, to a lesser extent, also into Spanish, mainly of works of children's literature. She has translated from German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. As the author, she became known in 2010 thanks to the Documenta Award for the novel Una tierra solitaria, and the Rovelló Essay Award for her work Las heroines contraatacan.
