Revelation: The Rapture, the Tribulation, and the Eternal Estate

Overview

The opening of the seals in the Tribulation and the events that are released are not God's judgment, will, or retribution on those in the church who missed the rapture but the reaping of humanity's accumulated behavior (see Galatians 6:7). AMERICA'S ROLE IN END-TIME PROPHECYDaniel prophesied in Daniel 2:33, 40-43, the demise of the fourth world empire (the Roman Empire) by in-house destruction. The fourth beast/empire in Daniel 2:33 is represented by the legs, feet, and toes of iron and clay that cannot mix and will collapse from within (see also Daniel 2:40-43). The first part of that prophecy was fulfilled with the collapse of the Emperor Age due to over-expansion, over-taxation, immorality, and bickering among leadership-the Jews, the Herod dynasty (Edomites), and Roman emperors. Two thousand years later, America's role in end-time prophecy is revealed, and the second phase of Daniel's prophecy is being fulfilled. The toes and feet of iron and clay (blacks, whites, immigrants, Democrats, and Republicans) will not mix and are collapsing from within. The third phase of this prophecy will be completed in the reign of the Antichrist, when his military attacks his religious and political branches (see Revelation 17:6-16).

Author Information

The only part of Hershel Landers' life that has any significance is the part that he gave to Christ in his mid-forties, after a life of drug abuse and addiction. Landers left home in his senior year of high school for the military to support his family, as he was the oldest of eight siblings and his father became prominently disabled. He did not realize it at the time, but that choice, or necessity, was by divine guidance and made it possible for five of his siblings to earn BA and master's degrees. The purpose of this bio is to shift the focus from the author of this title to the grace of God, who gave him the content, honor, and ability to pen the message. To God be the glory.
