OverviewFor first-year courses in Composition. The platinum standard of handbooks - unmatched in accuracy, currency, and reliability Revel The Little, Brown Handbook, Brief is designed around the assumption that reading and writing are deeply intertwined, and that addressing students' challenges with reading can directly improve their writing. Whether they are writing short response papers, discussing a reading in an online forum, or writing a formal research paper, they need strategies and skills for reading to learn and writing to learn, and ways to connect their reading to their writing. Suitable for students with minimal academic writing experience, LB Brief answers questions of writing process, grammar, and style for users of all levels.
