Overview

Returning Home inspires believers to live a more contemplative life. Using familiar Scripture passages and the author's own meditative thoughts, this rich work invites believers to look at Scripture, the character and nature of God, and humanity through the eyes of one man focused on deepening his relationship with God. With a sincere and earnest writing style, Palmer uses short, devotional-like chapters to illustrate what the heart intentionally turned toward God looks like in the life of a believer.

Author Information

Jesse G. Palmer was born and reared in LA (that’s Lower Alabama in his neck of the woods!). An entrepreneur, graphic designer, and mentor, he also enjoyed writing. He was a graduate of Samford University. His life’s mantra was, “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8 NIV). While Jesse passed away in February 2018, his legacy and love for God lives on in his written words and in the lives of those who knew him. He is survived by his wife Bonnie who lives in Alabama.
